Management Consultant - Senior Consultant - New York

Efficio is the world’s largest specialist procurement and supply chain consultancy, with offices across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. We are recruiting for our North America region where you'll be joining a growing team of nearly 150 people based from our New York and Chicago offices. Consultants based in the USA will support clients across the Americas with opportunity to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex workstreams or multiple smaller workstreams, often supported by junior resources.
• Support junior consultants on projects, ensuring Efficio methodologies and processes are followed.
• Drive complex analysis where data is hard to access, using expertise to creatively develop conclusions and recommended solutions.
• Advise clients on complex needs, achieving sustainable results, and demonstrating real impact.
• Manage and own relationships with senior stakeholders, planning and preparing documentation for own workstream.
• Participate in the recruitment process of potential junior consultants.

Requirements

• Management consulting experience within a leading consultancy, ideally within procurement and/or supply chain.
• Proven track record of working closely with senior client stakeholders.
• Deep analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with the ability to isolate key issues and draw sound conclusions.
• A strong grasp of detail and a 'hands-on' approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• The ability to confidently improve existing ways of working, recognize opportunities, and identify innovative solutions that add real value to clients.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience (or an interest) in strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, supply chain, operations, infrastructure, or capital projects.
• An ambition and proactive approach to shaping your career to your goals and interests.

Skills

• Strong communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to analyze complex challenges and identify innovative solutions.
