Management and Program Analyst
About the role
The positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), in Mount Laurel, New Jersey; Spring, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates programs to identify how to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establishing guidance or directives that address program requirements and organizational priorities.
- Providing advice to senior leadership on program effectiveness and operational performance.
- Collaborating with senior-level stakeholders on the implementation of major program initiatives or legislative reforms.
- Representing the organization with agency leaders, federal partners, and external stakeholders to present findings and advance program initiatives.
Requirements
You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. You must successfully pass a background investigation. This may include a credit check, a review of financial issues, as well as certain criminal offenses and illegal use or possession of drugs. Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, performing 3 or more of the following:
- Evaluating programs to identify how to improve efficiency and effectiveness;
- Establishing guidance or directives that address program requirements and organizational priorities;
- Providing advice to senior leadership on program effectiveness and operational performance;
- Collaborating with senior-level stakeholders on the implementation of major program initiatives or legislative reforms.

Pay
Salary range indicated in this announcement will be adjusted to include locality payment for selected duty location. General Schedule locality pay tables may be found under Salaries & Wages .
