Management Analyst
About the role
This position is in the DISA OC/Infrastructure Directorate and is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
Responsibilities
- Prepares recommendations and oversees implementation of recommended changes
- Forecasts potential problems, identifies potential risks, develops corrective and/or preventive actions, and identifies ways to avoid or mitigate risk
- Prepares detailed written or oral reports on findings from review and analysis of projects and programs which include narrative and/or graphs, charts, and other exhibits as required to reflect and/or explain the status of the program
- Reviews, analyzes, and leads Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) actions and approvals
- Serves as training coordinator and PAE timekeeper coordinator

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
Qualifications
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
Qualifying experience is defined as: experience managing project milestones; analyzing data, and presenting final recommendations to senior management; formulating data-driven solutions; leading Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) actions and approvals; coordinating training and timekeeping.

There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-12 grade level.

- This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service
- If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment
- A three year trial period may be required if you have not previously completed a trial or probationary period in the excepted or competitive service
