About the role
PwC’s specialty lies in business application consulting, focusing on optimizing operational efficiency through consulting services for various business applications. Our Epic consulting team specializes in Epic software solutions, where consultants like you will analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support.
Responsibilities
- Participate in needs assessments and gather business/clinical requirements
- Assist in designing and configuring Epic workflows aligned to operational needs
- Collaborate with SMEs to improve workflow efficiency and resolve system issues
- Support functional and integrated testing, including test script development
- Develop policies and procedures in collaboration with clinicians, other system analyst team members, and IT Epic team manager
- Perform unit testing of all need builds assigned and assist other application analysts as needed
- Manage and troubleshoot interfaces for inbound/outbound transaction errors
- Troubleshoot application issues, adhering to change control processes
- Create and maintain system documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year of experience
- Experience in US Healthcare
- Epic certification
- Knowledge of US healthcare workflows, including clinical, revenue cycle or operational
- Technical product roadmap knowledge and support requirements
- Team orientation and ability to work across boundaries
- Innovative problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and audit requirements
- Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, manage projects, and utilize time effectively
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation is dependent on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.
