Mammography Technologist PRN

The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to provide physicians with essential diagnostic data. Responsibilities Include Executing Breast and Bone Density Imaging adhering to department protocols and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.Evaluating image quality and performing data post-processing.Ensuring proper patient identification and delivering patient-centered care.Applying patient safety principles and responding appropriately to emergencies.Assisting radiologists with procedures and maintaining compliance with policies and standards. Qualifications Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.Valid ARRT Mammography, Radiography, and BLS certifications.Minimum two years of diagnostic radiography experience or one year in breast imaging.Strong communication, operation of radiographic equipment, and patient service skills; knowledge of mammography positioning preferred.
