Mammography Technologist PRN

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Mammography Technologist to join Parkridge East Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures requiring rational independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in women’s imaging exams while aligning with departmental functions and goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures, including mammography, to board, facility, and national standards.
• Promote and uphold customer service initiatives.
• Provide continuous observation of telemetry monitors.
• Document notes in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography, credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), obtained prior to hire date.
• 1-2 years of experience in mammography preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge, providing a full range of medical and surgical services, including:

• Orthopedics and robotic surgery.
• A 24/7 Emergency Department, recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center.
• Obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures.
• A Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with specialized providers, including neonatologists, neonatal nurses, and respiratory therapists, on-site at all times.
