Core Responsibilities
- Execute breast and bone density imaging while adhering to safety and quality standards, applying ALARA principles to minimize exposure
- Evaluate image quality, perform post-processing, and ensure accurate patient identification
- Provide patient-centered care, prioritize safety, and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Follow aseptic techniques and assist Radiologists during procedures
- Comply with organizational policies and standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Certification in BLS, ARRT-Mammography, and Radiography
- Minimum of 2 years in Diagnostic Radiography or X-Ray experience; 1 year in Breast imaging preferred
Skills
- Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent patient and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Mammography positioning techniques and operation of Breast Imaging Units is preferred
