Mammography Technologist (Per Diem)

About the role

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting. The role involves producing high-quality radiographic images, ensuring compliance with MQSA and FDA quality standards, and providing a caring, supportive interaction with patients throughout their breast health journey. You will also perform diagnostic radiology exams as needed, adhere to quality standards, and participate in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality radiographic images for screening mammography procedures
• Ensure compliance with MQSA and FDA quality standards
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the breast health journey
• Perform diagnostic radiology exams as needed
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards
• Participate in professional development and team collaboration

Requirements

• Successful completion of a radiologic technology training program meeting ARRT registry requirements
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography and Mammography (within 1 year of hire)
• Potentially prior general radiography experience depending on location

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of full-time mammography experience
