About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting. The role involves producing high-quality radiographic images, ensuring compliance with MQSA and FDA quality standards, and providing a caring, supportive interaction with patients throughout their breast health journey. You will also perform diagnostic radiology exams as needed, adhere to quality standards, and participate in professional development.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality radiographic images for screening mammography procedures
- Ensure compliance with MQSA and FDA quality standards
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the breast health journey
- Perform diagnostic radiology exams as needed
- Adhere to all quality and safety standards
- Participate in professional development and team collaboration
Requirements
- Successful completion of a radiologic technology training program meeting ARRT registry requirements
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography and Mammography (within 1 year of hire)
- Potentially prior general radiography experience depending on location
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of full-time mammography experience
