Mammography Technologist (Per Diem)

About the Role

This role involves performing screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting, focusing on patient care, support, and empowerment throughout their breast health journey.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality radiographic images for breast diagnosis and treatment.
  • Interact with patients in a caring and comforting manner.
  • Perform quality control activities in compliance with MQSA and FDA standards.
  • Utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams if required.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program.
  • Registration with ARRT and Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registration in Mammography within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience in general radiography may be required depending on location.

New graduates are encouraged to apply and will undergo comprehensive training and a mandatory 48-hour mammography course.

Preferred Qualifications
