About the Role
This role involves performing screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting, focusing on patient care, support, and empowerment throughout their breast health journey.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality radiographic images for breast diagnosis and treatment.
- Interact with patients in a caring and comforting manner.
- Perform quality control activities in compliance with MQSA and FDA standards.
- Utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams if required.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program.
- Registration with ARRT and Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registration in Mammography within 1 year of hire.
- Experience in general radiography may be required depending on location.
New graduates are encouraged to apply and will undergo comprehensive training and a mandatory 48-hour mammography course.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of full-time mammography experience.
