About the Role

Perform screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting, producing high-quality images while providing compassionate patient care. Responsible for adhering to quality control standards mandated by MQSA and FDA, with potential use of general radiography skills depending on location.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening mammograms and possibly diagnostic radiology exams.
  • Ensure image quality and patient comfort.
  • Perform quality control activities per regulatory standards.
  • Interact empathetically with patients, supporting their breast health journey.

Requirements

  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, ARRT registry eligible.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Registration as a Mammography Technologist within 1 year of hire.
  • Prior general radiography experience may be required based on location.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 2 years of full-time mammography experience.

  • Strong patient interaction and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
