Responsibilities
- Perform mammography examinations using advanced equipment, tailored to patients' specific needs, based on physicians' orders.
- Utilize clinical judgment to optimize imaging techniques, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Work on-site at the medical center, contributing to patient-centered, whole-person care in a collaborative environment.
- Operate mammography equipment following best practices.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality diagnostic services.
Requirements
- Meet certification, licensing, and registration requirements, including an Oregon Radiographer License and BLS certification.
- Obtain National Registered Technologist credentials in Radiography and Mammography within 6 months of hire.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of imaging procedures.
