Mammography Technologist (Full Time) - Radiology Diagnostic

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiological procedures focused on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
• Create a calm, comforting experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
• Play an active role in upholding quality standards as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
• May support diagnostic exams in some locations with your general radiography skills.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.
• Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Full-time mammography experience.
