Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiological procedures focused on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Create a calm, comforting experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
- Play an active role in upholding quality standards as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
- May support diagnostic exams in some locations with your general radiography skills.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Washington Radiologic Technologist.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Full-time mammography experience.
