About the role

Under the direction of the Lead Mammography Technologist, performs procedures following the guidelines and regulations of the ACR and Federal and State regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures in compliance with ACR, Federal, and State regulations
• Demonstrate excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Prioritize and problem solve as issues arise
• Effectively communicate with patients of all age levels
• Perform physical tasks including standing or sitting for long periods, repetitive movements, and precise adjustments to machine controls

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of mammography experience
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of mammography
• Excellent command of verbal and written English
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certification
• Massachusetts Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Mammography

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D breast tomosynthesis mammography equipment
• Experience with Cerner and PACS

• Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired

Pay

Salary range: $40.39–$62.82 per hour. The pay range reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
