Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic and other diagnostic imaging equipment, adhering to established company policies and protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
- Understand and apply technical factors such as compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, and photo cell selection to ensure high-quality images.
- Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical issues and take appropriate action.
- Guide patients through procedures by explaining steps, addressing concerns, and answering questions about the exam process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and protecting Patient Health Information (PHI).
- Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information, whether on-site or on patient portals.
- Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, responding to the needs of others with respect.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for patient care and the ability to exercise sound judgment while remaining professional in all situations.
- Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.
- ARRT(R)(M) certification.
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
- BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Pay
$50.00 – $70.00 per hour
