About the role
The Mammography Technologist will be performing diagnostic and screening mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, breast ultrasounds and procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Radiology Technologist by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) required.
- Associates or Bachelors from an accredited imaging program preferred.
- Certified Mammographer through the ARRT.
- Mammography experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift without restriction.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Hear spoken word as well as telephone and equipment alarms.
- React, move, work quickly, and with multiple distractions.
Skills
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Infection control knowledge.
- Documentation proficiency.
