About the Role

A Mammography Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic and screening mammograms using 3D and digital imaging equipment, primarily with the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality mammography procedures
  • Ensure radiation safety and adhere to PPE protocols
  • Provide patient care for adult and geriatric populations
  • Maintain mammography equipment and follow safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with radiology staff
  • Support interdisciplinary teams and float within hospital units as needed
  • Flexibility to work holidays

Schedule

Coverage spans 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with shifts varying within the day, including 1-2 Saturdays per month.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography
  • ARRT (R) and (M) certifications
  • BLS certification
  • Proficiency in 3D, digital, and screening mammograms
  • Experience with Epic charting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Handle inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Comply with safety and radiation protocols
  • Meet licensing, reference, and vaccination requirements
  • Prepare for travel-specific policies, housing arrangements, and compliance modules
