Mammography Technician Float

About the role

A Mammography Tech Float provides high-quality mammography, breast ultrasound, and related imaging services across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear and accurate images through proper patient positioning and safe imaging techniques.
• Demonstrate proficiency in mammography, breast ultrasound, interventional procedures, and bone densitometry.
• Maintain quality control to adhere to FDA guidelines and complete regular safety and quality documentation.
• Perform and track MQSA compliance activities, manage pathology records, and communicate results to physicians and patients.
• Organize patient procedures, ensure smooth operations, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Contribute to team building, interpret policies for compliance, and participate in ongoing education to maintain skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program (JRCERT).
• Certification in mammography (ARRT-Mammography) and radiology (ARRT-Radiography).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

Preferred: Two years of mammography experience and breast ultrasound skills.
