Mammography Technician

About the role

Perform diagnostic and screening breast imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating breast diseases. Implement physician orders, ensure high-quality imaging, and maintain radiation safety standards while providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients
• Position patients for imaging
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Monitor image quality
• Collaborate with healthcare teams

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current state license
• BLS certification

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (preferred)
• Additional state licenses (preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Technical proficiency with imaging equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
• Physical ability to position patients and operate equipment
