Mammography Tech

Department: Radiology
Schedule: Per Diem (as needed), Day shift
Facility: Prime Healthcare St. Mary's Hospital
Location: Kankakee, IL 60901
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, actively participate in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders
- Participate in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives as well as local and federal regulations
- Assist with complex and sensitive patient and patient family issues
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages
Qualifications
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Current ARRT certification
- Advanced certification in the field of Mammography
- Current experience as a radiology technologist
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards
- Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice
- Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS)
Pay
$42.00 to $42.00 per hour. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
