Mammography Tech

About the role
Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, the Mammographer actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures that assist radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. The role includes direct patient care, adherence to facility quality and safety initiatives, and compliance with local and federal regulations. The Mammographer assists with complex and sensitive patient and family issues and ensures quality, safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized mammographic imaging procedures.
- Participate in direct patient care and address patient and family concerns.
- Adhere to facility quality and safety initiatives and regulatory standards.
- Operate and maintain Hospital Information Services (HIS) and Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Travel to all imaging facilities as required, with or without notice.
Requirements
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Current ARRT certification.
- Advanced certification in Mammography.
- Current experience as a radiology technologist.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards.
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $31.44 to $45.54 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Schedule
Part-time, greater than 59% FTE. Shift: Days.
