We use advanced technology to enhance patient care at Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center, a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, state-of-the-art maternity center, women's imaging center, and ICU.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering personalized, professional, and quality patient care.
• Provide internal and external customer service.
• Perform all diagnostic x-ray examinations, including mammograms.
• Transport patients to and from Imaging Services.
• Prepare departmental paperwork.
• Answer the department’s telephone and schedule patients.
• Enter and retrieve patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Maintain the work area in a clean and organized manner.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1+ years of experience performing Mammograms.
• Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and certified in Mammography.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray Compliance.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Pay

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
