Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana.
- Maintain a current certification in BLS.
- Participate in annual Infection Prevention education.
- Follow all Employee Health protocols (e.g., annual TB skin test, annual flu vaccine, and annual employee physical if maintaining insurance benefits).
- Complete annual training including Relias, Ethics, and Sexual Harassment.
- Attend all mandatory inservices including departmental meetings.
- Have basic computer knowledge.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.
