Mammography Facilitator
About the Role
Serves as the single point of contact for Physicians and Patients at Saint Vincent Women’s Wellness Center. Facilitates same-day additional imaging needs. Assists patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and resources available. Assumes supervisory responsibilities for day-to-day operations. Adheres to and develops department and organizational policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient flow operations within Mammography at the Wellness Center.
- Serve as a liaison and resource for patients, providers, staff, and the community to provide patient-centered, evidence-based quality breast health care.
- Maintain patient educational materials and ongoing public education events.
- Maintain current community-based educational programs.
- Maintain inter/intra-departmental communication, delivering appropriate information to Performance Improvement (PI) and other committees to demonstrate outcomes and performance improvement activities.
- Maintain technical proficiency by providing floor coverage as required; demonstrate the ability to perform functions of the technical job description based on current license.
- Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a two-year program in an AMA-accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Mammography/Radiology. Substantial background in QA, ACR accreditation, and Lead Technologist experience.
- Licensure/Certification: Registered by the ARRT. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiation Control Program. CPR BLS certified.

Pay
$30.16 - $46.75 per hour. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
