Responsibilities
- Supervise day‑to‑day operations of the Breast Imaging section.
- Direct workflow for technical staff across all patient classifications.
- Assign staff to meet patient schedule needs.
- Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate with field engineers and MLH Biomedical Engineering to resolve issues.
- Ensure procedure rooms are stocked with supplies in conjunction with technologists and assistants.
- Review image quality on PACS and address QA issues as needed.
- Perform procedures on all patient populations (neonates to geriatrics).
- Maintain working relationships with all ancillary departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent related Mammography experience.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
