Responsibilities
- Counsels patients on the mammogram procedure.
- Ensures images are of good technical quality.
- Assists in stereotactic biopsy and needle localization procedures.
- Maintains and calibrates mammography equipment.
- Schedules preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Keeps accurate and updated quality control logs.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- AART-ODH certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Field of study: Applied Science, Radiology, Mammography
- Experience: 1 year
