Mammography Technologists - SIGN ON BONUS Offered for Full time and Part Time

About the role

Charlotte Radiology is seeking ARRT registered mammography technologists with diagnostic, biopsy, stereo, and/or breast ultrasound experience. This role performs technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to obtain high-quality images of the breasts and assists radiologists in diagnostic procedures, including stereotactic imaging and biopsy. You will serve as an integral part of delivering an exceptional patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to obtain high-quality breast images.
• Assist radiologists in diagnostic procedures, including stereotactic imaging and biopsy.
• Evaluate and diagnose physiological changes in breast patterns.
• Extract and present pertinent information from medical reports concisely.
• Maintain excellent communication and customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage time effectively and organize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.

Requirements

• ARRT Mammography registered certification.
• BLS and CPR certifications.
• Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Diagnostic, biopsy, stereo, and/or breast ultrasound mammography experience.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in diagnostic imaging and stereotactic biopsy.
• Anatomic knowledge of breast tissue patterns, related structures, breast pathology, and treatment.
• Knowledge of radiographic technique, positioning, and ultrasound anatomy.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and primarily perform walking and standing duties.
• Travel required: 0 – 25%.
