Mammography Technologist - Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality images following department protocols.
• Assist radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and comfort while adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Complete accurate documentation, coding, and quality control reports.
• Provide patient education and address concerns with empathy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT Certification and State License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred: ARRT Mammography Certification or ongoing training, imaging/mammography experience.
• Proficiency in mammography procedures, radiation safety, patient communication, image evaluation, and recordkeeping.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment precisely, assist with patient transfers, and navigate busy clinical environments.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate: $35.25 – $54.39.
