Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Mammography Technologist, you will be vital in early breast cancer detection, performing high-quality mammographic imaging with precision and compassion. Every day, you will expertly operate equipment, meticulously position patients, ensure comfort, perform quality control, and maintain accurate records. You'll collaborate with radiologists and adhere to safety and regulatory standards for comprehensive breast health.
To be successful in this role, you will possess current mammography certification, exceptional technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor, ensuring accurate diagnostics and positive patient experiences. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols. Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals. Supports and reports any identified compliance matters. Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction. Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, upon hire
- Medical Radiographer: KY, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Pay
$28.67 - $42.64 /hour
