About the role

Reporting to the Lead Technologist and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs a variety of mammography procedures that utilize radiation, while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography procedures utilizing radiation
• Maintains essential patient care and safety

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required
• Previous radiologic technology experience preferred
• Prior mammography experience strongly preferred
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required or Temporary Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of MA required
• Registered as R.T.(M)(ARRT) or registry-eligible R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire
• Current Mammography Permit in the Commonwealth of MA
• BLS healthcare provider required

Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to maintain confidential information
