About the role
The Mammography Technologist at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs plays a crucial role in early breast cancer detection. The position requires expertise in mammographic imaging, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to ensure accurate diagnostics and positive patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Produces high-quality mammographic images meeting all licensing and regulatory standards.
- Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures as per the Breast Center Policy and Procedures.
- Carries out special mammography procedures such as Mammatome, ABBI, and Wire/needle localization.
- Completes clerical tasks to support mammography procedures when the clerk is absent.
- Documents all paperwork related to mammographic procedures accurately.
Requirements
- One (1) year experience as a Registered Technologist.
- Medical Radiographer: AR, obtained upon hire.
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, obtained within 12 months.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, obtained within 30 days.
Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must possess current mammography certification, exceptional technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor.
Skills
Proficiency in mammography equipment operation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with radiologists are essential.

Pay
The posted compensation range is $38.50 - $38.50 /hour, reflecting the reasonable estimate of what CommonSpirit Health might pay for this position.
Schedule
The role is available on a PRN (Per Request Notified) schedule, with the option to work Days and Shifts.
