About the Role
Location: Tulsa, OK
Facility: Ascension St. John Medical Center
Department: Breast Center
Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm
Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision mammography exams by expertly positioning patients and adjusting technical parameters to produce the clearest possible diagnostic images for early detection.
- Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process, providing clear insights into the role of regular screening to empower them in their preventative breast health journey.
- Deliver meticulous diagnostic records by ensuring all images, patient histories, and markers are accurately captured and uploaded to the digital system (PACS) for seamless physician review.
- Uphold rigorous radiation safety and quality standards to create a secure, compliant environment that protects both our patients and our clinical team.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
