Responsibilities

• Affirms patient rights and maintains privacy and modesty during care.
• Determines the presence and type of Advanced Directives.
• Reports suspected cases of abuse or neglect.
• Understands the role of and how to access the Bioethics Committee.
• Executes a range of mammography and DEXA exams.
• Prioritizes patient well-being through direct care.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams for accurate documentation and effective communication.
• Continuously learns and adheres to professional standards.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/GED
• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Documentation of Digital Mammography training (8 hrs), Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months), and Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months)
• CA Radiology Tech License
• Basic Life Support

Preferred

• Associates Degree upon hire
• Expanded IV Therapy Course upon hire
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire

Qualifications

• Strong background in radiologic technology with significant digital mammography experience
• Essential certifications

Pay

The posted compensation range of $60.02 - $60.02 /hour is a reasonable estimate based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit Health may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
