About the role
Sound knowledge and proficiency in the use of Mammography equipment (analog mammo and digital rooms). Needle localizations may be required to learn stereotactic breast biopsys. Perform mammography exams per protocol with screening and diagnostic in a timely manner. Complete appropriate history forms. Complete consent forms. Stock rooms with supplies. Check labs when necessary. Perform data entry in Meditech using accurate times. Verify doctor orders. Follow Doctor’s orders on protocols. Match exams to patient’s folder and pull out last two years. Interact with Radiologists. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, co-workers, etc. Organize patients for best work flow. Develop films in dark room. Copy films. Perform QA when needed. Check out films to patients. Importing films from PACS to Fischer or Sectra workstation.

Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-R)
- Radiography (RT)
- Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
- Vocational School Graduate
