Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate film for technical quality, including density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, verifying image quality, correct lead markers, and accurate patient data/history.
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report potential problems or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Radiologic Technologist credential from the Florida Department of Health (Florida license not required for associates working in Georgia).
• One or more of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist licensure (Mammography registry preferred).
• Education: High School diploma or equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
