Role: Mammography Technologist Responsibilities Perform quality screening, diagnostic, and other mammography procedures to aid in breast disease diagnosis and treatment.Review exam requisitions, note pertinent information, and ensure accurate exam execution.Position patients and operate mammographic equipment, selecting appropriate protocols and techniques.Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, capturing additional images if necessary.Maintain proper labeling and follow established procedures to ensure exam accuracy.Provide excellent customer service and support to patients.Maintain records, reports, and files in compliance with federal and state regulations.Position and utilize imaging equipment proficiently across all age groups. Qualifications Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or accredited hospital-based training.No experience required; 1 year preferred.Certifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or ARDMS), Mammography (ARRT or ARDMS), and BLS, all upon hire.
