About the role
The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC), formerly called RCBI, is accepting resumes for a Workforce Development Program Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support program clients in obtaining training, industry-recognized certifications, apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities, and academic degrees that best align with their career goals.
- Split time between MAMC's primary facilities in Huntington and South Charleston.
- Work closely with the Workforce Development Team to plan, coordinate, and implement skills programs, apprenticeships, and pre-apprenticeships for individuals and businesses.
- Work directly with people and businesses developing customized, in-demand training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree.
- Required: Success and experience working in a high-performance, collaborative peer group environment; strong program management skills and ability to manage complex, multifaceted projects.
- Required: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to cultivate new and existing relationships.
- Required: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and use of audiovisual equipment.
- Required: Ability to travel.
- Preferred: Independent, results-focused, highly organized self-starter with supervisory skills.
- Preferred: Experience with federal grants and Salesforce, MS Access, or another database system.
- Preferred: Demonstrated effectiveness as a leader, with 3 years of experience in a team management role.
- Preferred: Sophisticated personal networking and relationship building skills.
