About the role
The Department of Chemistry, Physics & Engineering seeks two students to assist with 3D printing, generate demonstrations for outreach events, teach students the basics of slicing software, maintain a clean work environment, and manage materials such as filament, resin, paper towels, and isopropyl alcohol. This position is open to Engineering majors and offers a career-building portfolio.Responsibilities
- Assist students and professors with 3D printing
- Generate demonstrations for outreach events
- Teach students the basics of slicing software
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Maintain and replace materials (filament, resin, paper towels, isopropyl alcohol)
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Prior knowledge of FDM Printers and SLA (Resin) printers
- Prior knowledge of basic carpentry and equipment
