Make Ready Service Technician

About the Role

Join Morgan Properties as a Make Ready Service Technician at Park West 205, a newer property focusing primarily on routine apartment turns and general maintenance rather than extensive renovation work. This role prepares vacant apartments for market-ready condition and supports overall property upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Standard apartment turns and unit preparation
• Basic appliance repair and troubleshooting
• Drywall repair and touch-up painting
• Basic electrical repairs and fixture replacement
• Caulking and apartment touch-ups
• Trash-out and debris removal
• Testing locks and key sets
• Assisting with property inspections and apartment walks
• Maintaining grounds and common areas, including trash pickup, sweeping sidewalks, and breezeways
• Assisting Maintenance Technicians, Porters, and Housekeeping as needed

Requirements

• Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• Live within a 30-minute commute of the property
• One year of related maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Traditional maintenance skills and hands-on experience preferred
• Experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and basic electrical work preferred
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred, but not required

Pay

Base Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position will eventually participate in rotating on-call responsibilities and must be available for emergency events as needed. Schedule subject to change based on business needs.
