Overview & Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Utility Employee performs non-aircraft maintenance tasks, including:
- General housekeeping and janitorial duties
- Machine or tank servicing (fluids, filters, media, etc.)
- Pre-operational inspections of ground support equipment (GSE) and vehicles
- Operating forklifts and cleaning
- Collecting empty boxes, pallets, and other miscellaneous items to keep work areas clear
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Able to read and write English
- Meets physical requirements to perform essential job functions (lift 35 lbs)
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Team player and self-starter
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and either rotating or fixed shifts
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States
- Demonstrates priority for privacy, diversity, and safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous forklift or motorized cart experience
