Responsibilities

  • Promptly addressing resident service requests
  • Performing hands-on maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and more
  • Preparing market-ready apartments and maintaining community grounds
  • Conducting regular community inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements
  • Performing preventative maintenance and maintaining the grounds and common areas
  • Reporting any concerns

Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs and painting
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a motorized vehicle (e.g., car, golf cart) during the workday
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills; ability to communicate orally and in writing in English for all work-related purposes
  • Ability to work any assigned shift, including weekends, and respond to emergencies after normal business hours when assigned on-call responsibilities
  • Ability to perform physical activities including prolonged standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, shoveling, crouching, lifting, and handling materials up to 50 lbs
  • Service team employees must use their own smartphone with updated software, password protection, and compliance with in-house security systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school certification/diploma
  • EPA Section 608 Type I, Type II, or Universal certification
  • Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience

Pay

$25.00 to $30.56 per hour. Team members are eligible for overtime pay and performance incentives.
