Maintenance Technician | The Pines Apartments
About the role
The Pines Apartments in Burnsville are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The role involves providing maintenance and repair services for the property, including interior and exterior grounds and equipment. The technician must ensure resident satisfaction by maintaining the property's condition and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall condition and cleanliness of the maintenance shop and residential property.
- Execute and document the preventive maintenance program for resident units, common areas, hallways, garages, grounds, pool, clubhouse, and equipment.
- Ensure property appearance, snow removal, upkeep/curb appeal, and competitive market positioning.
- Complete work orders and turnover maintenance needs on a timely basis.
- Provide quick response to emergency after-hour calls as necessary.
- Maintain maintenance budget and adhere to purchase card guidelines.
- Operate all equipment following safe and proper procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of community property and grounds, and follow all CSM procedures for resident/associate incidents.
- Adhere to CSM attendance policy, grooming/appearance/dress code standards, and general work rules and department procedures.
- Attend all required meetings.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, and follow all CSM procedures for resident/employee incidents.
- Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work duties.
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Attention to detail, customer-focused, and able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
- General computer experience preferred.
- Current and valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- CPO, HVAC, EPA certification, boilers license desired, or the ability to obtain certification based on property requirements.

- Knowledgeable of property emergency procedures.
- Available to assist as needed in any natural/catastrophic disaster.

Pay
$20.00 USD - $28.00 USD per hour
