Residential Maintenance Technician - Apartments

About the role

The Residential Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of apartment complexes, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and common area repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Inspect apartments for issues and document findings.
• Order and manage supplies for maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with residents regarding repair status and progress.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• At least 2 years of related experience in maintenance or construction.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic electrical and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and appliances.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
