Apartment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assisting in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Assisting in exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Assisting in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed
• Assisting in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• EPA Universal Certification a plus
• CPO Certification a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
