About the role

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Phoenix/Scottsdale AZ. This role utilizes industry-leading technology to enhance the daily lives of residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
  • Follow AIR’s process for apartment turns to ensure a smooth move-in experience.
  • Complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with move-in/move-out inspections as needed.
  • May provide guidance and training to other Maintenance Technicians.
  • Manage vendor quality and perform on-call shifts as necessary.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a facilities or building environment.
  • Proficient skills in at least two technical trades such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
  • Able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
  • Reliable mode of transportation for emergency service requests.
  • Physical ability to move heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
