Maintenance Technician - Rancho Cordova

This is an on-site position requiring 5 days per week in our Rancho Cordova, CA office.
About The Department
Corporate Real Estate and Facilities ensure that our owned and leased offices are inviting and engaging to our clients and over nine thousand Franklin Templeton (FT) employees across the globe. We keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and enable collaboration and innovation by supporting on-site services and a dynamic work environment. We build and maintain strong internal and external relationships essential to supporting the success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of a small and dynamic team focused on maintaining a site that includes five buildings and a warehouse, ensuring the buildings and employees are well taken care of.
- Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC/mechanical, electrical, plumbing, door hardware, and automated building systems.
- Handle day-to-day work revolving around scheduled preventative maintenance, promptly addressing customer needs submitted via work order, and efficiently handling corrective actions to repair equipment.
- Effectively manage and actively partner with vendors, overseeing those responsible for providing services to the building to ensure both timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Build and reconfigure modular cubicles and assist the Records department with warehouse box retrieval.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant facilities and maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of building HVAC systems and components (ideal).
- General knowledge of electric and plumbing systems and safety controls such as fire and security systems (preferred but not required).

- Can-do, customer service attitude and ability to partner/interface well with others at all levels.

Pay
We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $25.00 - 27.50 per hour depending on location and level of relevant experience.
