Maintenance Technician, PM Shift, Bilingual in Spanish, Scottsdale, AZ

Leadpoint Business Services is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our site inMesa/Scottsdale, AZ.This role performs repairs and maintenance on recycling equipment, compact heavy equipment and light trucks to maximize safe and productive operations. Typical repairs include, but are not limited to, routine maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems, recycling equipment (sorting screens, optical sorters, magnets, eddy currents, etc), electrical systems, balers, conveyor systems and compactors. Benefits Of The Maintenance Technician Job 2nd Shift Schedule: 1pm to 11:30pm (Mon to Fri, occasional weekend work) Pay rate: $22.00/hr Health, dental, vision benefits & more after 60 days of employmentCompany-provided PPE including safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, protective gloves and arm shields.An employee lunchroom with a refrigerator and microwave for your use.Weekly pay & accrued time off Responsibilities Of The Maintenance Technician Job Diagnose mechanical problems using charts, diagnostic software, technical manuals and expertisePerform repairs and maintenance on recycling equipment, compact heavy equipment and light trucks to maximize safe and productive operations.Repairs or replaces parts as directed by a work order system and completing field service reported in a work order systemOverhauls or replaces machine components and replace worn itemsCommunicate with supervisor and/or equipment operators for clarifications of problems- may use preventative techniques with equipment users to minimize future repairsIndependently troubleshoot and maintain complex electro-mechanical equipmentCompletes daily consumable report to record hours, fuel and oil usage and provide information for input into the Fleet Management Software systemPerform preventive maintenance according to standard scheduledMay maintain, repair and install plumbing, electrical, HVAC, odor systems, and negative pressure systems Requirements Of The Maintenance Technician Job Minimum of 1 year experience with building maintenance, HVAC, odor systems and negative pressure systemsMinimum of 3 years of experience working on equipment in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferredWorking knowledge of Tier 4 emission systems preferredValid driver’s license Bilingual in Spanish required About Leadpoint Business Services Since 2000, Leadpoint Business Services has been helping waste and recycling companies become more efficient.
