Maintenance Technician - Philadelphia

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance & Repair Technician to maintain and repair conveyor systems and machinery. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing conveyor components, including motors, gears, switches, and other electrical or mechanical parts. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for a company vehicle upon permanent hire. A clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair conveyor systems and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor components, including motors, gears, switches, and other electrical or mechanical parts.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams.
• Adhere to standard safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in conveyor maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, especially related to conveyor systems.
• Motor control and 3-phase electrical experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Clean driving record.

Pay

$28 - $35/hour, with flexibility based on experience. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half, and double time for weekend work. Overtime pay applies to on-call shifts even if 40 hours have not been reached. Daily pay begins from the time you leave your house.

Schedule

45–50-hour workweek.
