About the Role
As a Night Shift Maintenance Technician, you will focus on the mechanical and electrical performance of automated production machines, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. This hands-on role is ideal for a responsible individual with strong communication skills and a desire to build a career with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more functions in glass.
- Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality glass.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment in a safe and efficient manner and make repairs as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to increase equipment run time between failures.
- Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.
Requirements
- Experienced skills and knowledge with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and operation of high-speed production machinery (both electrical and mechanical).
- Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLCs/drivers, and motors.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Schedule
- Training: 1 month, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
- Scheduled Shift After Training: 7:30 PM – 4:30 AM, Monday–Friday.
