Join the Idaho team as a partner in the Operations Division and maintain all plant equipment through repairs and preventative maintenance. $2000 sign-on bonus available.
Schedule
Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines using diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime and inform production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Perform process instrumentation tasks, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and calibration.
- Read, understand, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics.
- Conduct general electrical troubleshooting of 24V, 110V, 220V, and 480V systems.
- Understand the theory behind process flow.
Requirements
- Highly proficient and experienced in troubleshooting PLCs, electrical controls, and instrumentation.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical machinery, steam, boiler, pneumatic, and hydraulic operations.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Must be available for all days and all shifts.
- Boiler and/or refrigeration experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to read and follow directions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to monitor and inspect product and equipment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance or an instrumentation certificate.
- Food background preferred, specifically dairy.
- Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas (production, logistics) within consumer products.
