Maintenance Technician - Latitude Apartments

About the role

The Service Technician role is integral to maintaining the appearance and operational excellence of the property, ensuring that units are ready for new move-ins and addressing various maintenance tasks promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager and/or Service Manager and report any emergency work orders in a timely manner.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call) as needed.
• Manage snow removal (CO, KS, UT) or hurricane preparation and cleanup (FL).
• Perform grounds pick-up, sweeping, and light landscaping tasks such as mulch and sprinkler head replacements.
• Maintain strong customer service skills and communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience is required.
• OSHA, EPA, and CPO licenses/certifications are preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and oral communication skills are necessary.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment is beneficial.
• Criminal background screening is required before employment.
• A valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance are mandatory.
• A passing Wonderlic pre-employment assessment is required.

Schedule

This role operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule with on-call responsibilities.

Pay

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour.
